For all of you dealing with the doctors on properly listening. Today I got my doctor to increase frequency of injection to 2 months vs 3.

After stating manufacturing guidelines don’t allow for injections more frequent than 3 months, I informed them they have change to 2-3 months and they agreed.

However this is a trial and I have still been told to have my b12 levels checked to ensure ‘they are not sky high due to increased frequency’. This was even after explaining levels should not be measured and based on symptoms.

Could someone please send me a direct link to the guidance on not measuring blood serum once injections have commenced. I have gone through the links to NICE, BHS etc and cannot find it.

Still feeling like self injection is inevitable.
