Positive results now wife injects

Since October my wife persuaded the GP to allow her to give injections. We do three a week. She had lots of training from the nurses so now we are independent. Symptoms are very very slowly getting better. We have enough amples to last up to Christmas. We are expecting some resistance when we ask for more. It's difficult to know when the recovery has stopped improving so we are not keen to give up this regime in case more progress is made. Symptoms remaining are slightly numb foot but not all the time, slightly strange gait but worse when tired and fatigue which hits when bed time is too late. GP started being more cooperative when she saw me after treatment and saw how well I looked. If all else fails we have supplies in the fridge from Germany. Hope it's gives hope to some.

Hi,

So pleased to read that your wife has made lots of progress and that her GP is enlightened enough to allow her to self inject.

Hope it goes well. I'm finding it slow progress but progress.

When did you get diagnosed? I di hope the go stays on side

Can't say I've been diagnosed officially. After trial started in August I made noticeable progress to begin with which the GP has acknowledged. No plan to find out why I need the b12. Next time I see the GP we need to ask her what she has recorded on her notes because it occurred to me that insurance companies for example will need to know what the diagnosis is.
