this sounds stupid, but just as I'm falling asleep, my mind will startle me and tell me to wake up. I can't seem to control what is a very negative thought.

Do you suffer from PA or B12 deficiency ?

Have you had your Folate, Ferritin and Vitamin D levels checked.

Are you on any other medication or suffer from Depression /Anxiety or any Thyroid problems.

Sounds like ptsd type symptom. Sounds very scary. Low b12 can damage the brain if left untreated too long. I hope it gets better for you
