Hi,

Just to add that canker sore is another name for an ulcer.

I'm not sure how long it will take to resolve but I do know that I no longer get ulcers in my mouth since starting B12.

Perhaps your doctor or dentist would know?

B12 books I found useful

"What You Need to Know About Pernicious Anaemia and B12 Deficiency" by Martyn Hooper

Martyn Hooper is the chair of PAS (Pernicious Anaemia Society). Book does not show updated BNF info.

"Living with Pernicious Anaemia and Vitamin B12 Deficiency" by Martyn Hooper

Has several case studies.

"Could it Be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses" by Sally Pacholok and JJ. Stuart (USA authors)

Very comprehensive with lots of case studies. There is also a paediatric version of this book "Could It Be B12? Paediatric Edition: What Every Parent Needs to Know".

I am not medically trained.

Hello, I previously had sores in my mouth several times a year before b12 injections. Maybe check with your GP again. Mine were painful and took months to heal completely, so I know how important this is to you...I would encourage you to continue to work with your GP (or maybe find a new one if you are not being heard) to resolve all your symptoms.
