dry eyes

DRY eyes,I have been using Systane gel drops to get my eyes to stop watering,how long before they get better,i have used them for 3 days,and they seem better.

Everyone is different, glad the drops are relieving your symptoms.

Dry eye unfortunately tends to be a chronic condition which you have to keep on top of.

If you haven't already done so, best to visit a high street Optometrist ( Ophthalmic Optician ) for correct diagnosis & treatment.

In the meantime, go to the RNIB official website for excellent info on dry eyes from The Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Click on Menu, then Supporting You, where you'll find an A-Z of eye conditions. Download the pdf guide in the Dry Eye section.

I used to be a charge nurse in a hospital ophthalmic department, and the above guide from the RNIB is reliable info and well written.

Hope you're eyes feel more comfortable soon !
