Morning all.

Should I expect this level to now be much higher than 6.3 having taken Folic acid every other day since Xmas along with my Injections?

6.3ug/L

3.89 - 26.80ug/L

Folic acid isn't stored in the body the way B12 is so it is very responsive to dietary intake. The normal range is a much better guide to whether you should be okay as well.

A B12 absorption problem can affect absorption of folate as well but it looks as if you are managing to maintain your levels in the normal range with the supplements.

What Gambit62 said. Plus, if you are concerned just take the folic acid every day.

Thanks fbirder.

I did that in the run up to Xmas & it upset my stomach so tried just taking the day of Injections.
