Since self injecting hydroxcobalamin 3 injections over 2 weeks, my long standing sinus issues have become far worse. Is this common? Tinnitus is through the roof and headaches making it too uncomfortable to work. My 10 loading doses at the doctors were Methylcobalamin and didn’t have this effect. I’m trying to clear the sinus with salt water but feel totally congested. Feeling quite poorly right now

I've had a snufflly nose. Tinnitis. I call the b12 buzz. I can akso have flare ups of symptoms and get ill. I've had migrains and tension headaches all the water through. I've only ever had hydroxocobalamin. I'm on every 2 weeks at present and it's still varies. My last injection I didn't get a headache. That is unusual. I didn't though seem to get any benefit either? It's a strange business but I know I still need it. 3 steps forward 2 back.
I'm not well enough to work or indeed function at an acceptable level yet. Do take care you don't do too much while the healing is happening
My tinnitus regrettably has never gone away. It gets a bit better for a little while after having an injection. I have had this since adolescence and learned to ignore the noise.
Sometimes after my shot my sinuses will feel kind of tingly and my nose starts running but it doesn't last very long. It doesn't happen every time though.
Thank you, I took the bull by the horns and had today’s shot......fine, so I guess it targets whatever is suffering at the time.
Very possibly, as mentioned I’ve always had sinus issues, not so much in recent years. Had them rebored 35 years ago and washouts since. It’s subsiding a Little now.
