Does anyone else find they need more frequent B12 injections when the temperature rises. This is my second summer since starting B12 shots and, once again, I feel like my body needs extra B12.

I haven’t noticed anything like that , but if you are physically more active in the warmer weather , that would account for a need for more frequent injections .
I am outside working in my garden and taking walks during the summer so I am more active. I also wonder if sweating causes B12 to leave the body at a faster rate.
There are so many unanswered questions about P.A. So little research has been done . It is, as Martyn Hooper says , a “Cinderella disease “:. I try to avoid the term disease . I call it a “condition “ !!! We somehow struggle on , but it’s so much easier to do so, being on this forum , which has so many good willing and helpful members .
Concerning sweating , I really don’t think that B12 is eliminated through sweat , only the kidneys . But I could be wrong . Hope that you get a more illuminating response than mine . Best wishes .
Thank you for your response. I look forward to reading this forum every day.
I'm in Australia and I find that my symptoms seem to return earlier and stronger in summer than in winter. My suspicion is that the heat causes the body to work a little harder to keep cool - my heart rate doing exactly the same exercise at the same rate is higher in summer than winter - causing the metabolism to use things up a little faster. Got no actual scientific proof on that one, though. Could just be that the heat makes you feel more wretched in general!
Yes, my experience needing extra B12 during the summer is just anecdotal., but this is the second summer that I have felt like this. Summer in Maryland is extremely hot and humid.

I have noticed that heat makes pins and needles in hands and feet worse and/or burning feet - whether on waking on a sunny morning, or having a hot bath, or going for a walk on a hot day. Otherwise, I haven't noticed a difference.
Is it affecting all your symptoms ?
During the summer, 2 weeks after my monthly shot my toes start to hurt, my brain gets foggy, the extreme tiredness starts up again and it's hard to catch my breath. I think I'll start having my shots every two weeks and see how I feel.
