Both show B12 levels well above the bottom of the range.
Both show folate levels above the bottom of the range. The difference between the two is almost certainly because of differences in your diet before being tested. A good portion of Tarka Dahl could boost your levels that much.
What I can't work out us the difference between pmol/L and ng/L. I've already been told that the test I had in February is below St Thomas's Hospitals levels for retesting at >70, mine was just below 60. And that was Active B12. Apparently the NHS test is a different one. So is it still low? I'm a bit confused and don't know whether to privately retest or push my GP. I feel pretty awful.
blood tests no good----it has to be a tissue test-----this is all about absorbtion----the test is more complex and expensive----honestly I am very confused about the numbers----I am trying to find someone who can explain all of this good luck
Thank you for taking the time to explain it. So does that mean my results are normal. Is it possible to have normal blood tests but still have symptoms? And is it better to have readings near the top end of the scale so nearer 900ng/L than 300ng/L?
ok I had the b12 test binding capacity-----and the results were (verbl) they said the hospital BELOW 400 and the hi normal is 2600-----so what does that mean---can you explain that to me----pls thanks garey
