Hi all. I realize I'm very blessed to have prescribed b12 injectables at the rate that works best for me. Right now I SI 3 times per week. Its suppose to be every other day which seems to work well for me. It never fails that I run short by the end of the month. It's been 3 days(picking up my script in a few mins) since my last jab. I haven't felt this bad since the beginning. My tongue hurts, I'm shakey, feel on edge and am groucy. Damn PA anyway!
My jabs: Hi all. I realize I'm very... - Pernicious Anaemi...
My jabs
It's a horrible reminder, isn't it?!
I console myself when it all comes back that at least I'm not barking doing what I do in terms of treatment! Sometimes, when I get everything right and feel OK I doubt myself and think "it's mad doing all this - I'm fine really" but oh my goodness, if I forget something or misjudge what I've absorbed from my diet, then "Pow!" I'm seriously crook again!
Oh my goodness, yes! Sometimes I tell myself I'm just inventing symptoms, and I'll be fine without the next jab, but then I get some weird sensation creeping in (like feeling water in my ears when I've not been swimming, or an odd twitch in my eye, or like hot water on my toes), and I remember I'm not making it up at all!
Hi deniseinmilden,
I have a request (but only if you can spare the time & energy).
I found your reply " ... or misjudge what I've absorbed from my diet," so perceptive,
but as I await my first supply of B12 I don't fully understand what you mean, any chance you could post a few of the most significant examples of what you refer to.
e.g. Vitamin C (like lemon juice) helps boost the absorption of the plant-based iron found in spinach. Is that kinda it? I did search the subject but no luck.
But please only if this is convenient for you to do.
• Any other kind posters who have the time to contribute valuable dietary tips
would be very much appreciated.
In (aspirational) anticipation of my first self injection,

_Rose. If you have any questions to ask it’s better to do your own post rather than ask them in the middle of someone else’s post.
Questions asked in the middle of another post are not seen by the whole forum so you'll get a limited response and it also potentially results in conversations running 'off-topic' for the poster (notifications on your own post relating to answers for other people can be quite intrusive and disappointing for those waiting for support or answers). 😉

PA may be awful but to be honest I find it easier to manage than hashi's - so some up-sides
