The post put on to Victoria 1000 was to say it did appear on here so wasn't private. I like to stay on the open forum. I tried to reply to you in norma way but not possible ad no rr9ly to tap. Thanks you for telling me how to send a private post if I want to. I've not done that yet.

Nackapan. If you’re replying to a post in the open forum, it's the convention to post your reply in the thread of the post where the reply appears (rather than put up a new post to make a reply to a single individual).

I do understand that you were not able to post a reply to Gambit62 (because the post was closed to replies) so in this instance it would have been better to send a personal massage to Gambit (via the chat function).

I'm sending you a test personal message so you can see how it works...your chat icon will turn red...tap,on,it and it will take you to your messages...you can the reply using the 'write' text box that appears at the bottom of the message. When you receive a message, you will also receive a notification at personal email address to say that a message awaits in HU messages. Great stuff.

Not sure what's going on here Nackapan - I've checked and there are no replies left for you in the open forum by Victoria1000...so hmm...🤔. If anyone replies to you in a personal message, then this would not be posted in the open forum...so again, hmm.

It was cocoa then. ?? It was a message that was on the forum then i got a private message saying the same thing.

I got your message thank you, as I don't want to get into sending personal messages I will stick to the usual format on the open forum.

No worries Nackapan.

To be honest, sticking to the open forum is always better because advice given via PM is not moderated or seen by others in the forum so there are potential issues to do with safeguarding mechanisms (for the sender and receiver).

Advice given in the open forum is transparent and open to challenge (as it should be) so if anyone makes a mistake, there are others about to (hopefully) spot it and clarify 😉😀.
