On top of tha they make totally unjustified health claims.
Most interesting. Have you found a multivitamin you can trust? How do we ever know what to trust? How can we ever hope to get the correct amounts into our bodies? Maybe food intake is the only answer. Thanks for good post.
Yes, I''m sure you're right. However, not all health claims for vitamins et al are entirely unjustified, just because there hasn't yet been sufficient research done and therefore medical evidence provided. Eg you can see from reading about these studies that there were some promising findings about turmeric: bbc.co.uk/programmes/articl...
So the best thing is to do your own research as much as possible, and then see if your condition improves when you try a product you are confident in, eg one that is pharmacist recommended rather than the cheapest high street option, and making sure it doesn't have any contra-indications to your prescription medication. Of course, many medics would describe any response you have as placebo/nocebo/anecdotal.
