Four foods that give me natural energy; (I've got vitamin decencies B12/C)

Cheese

Tomatoes

Bananas

Fish sticks.

Anyone know why these goods give me natural energy and are there any other foods I could add to my diet too?

Hi Cubies we naturally source Vitamin B12 by eating meat, fish, seafood, eggs, poultry and dairy produce. Not eating enough of these foods may be the cause of your deficiency although you do eat cheese and fish.

We normally have a "store" of several years worth of B12 in our liver and this gets "topped up" from foods listed above.

Best food sources of vitamin C. Citrus fruits such as oranges, kiwi, lemons, guava, grapefruit, and vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts and capsicums are rich, natural sources of vitamin C.

Do you have any idea why you are deficient?

I am not a medically trained person but I've had Pernicious Anaemia (one of many causes of B12 deficiency) for more than 46 years.

I wish you well and bid you goodnight.

Bananas are always a good healthy carbohydrate to help with sustained energy and also recovery from exercise.

I’m not sure why the other foods specifically give you energy but if it works for you, go for it!

There’s a whole wealth of other foods that would have a place in a healthy diet. Fruit, vegetables, whole grains and cereals, lean meat, fish, dairy. There’s stuff worth avoiding such as refined carbohydrates and processed foods.

Whenever I eat processed food like oven pizza I can literally feel myself becoming more and more fatigue which each slice.

That’s as good a reason as any any to avoid processed food!

Potassium in bananas? Protein in cheese and fish maybe? Good thing is that you seem to not be sensitive or allergic to bananas (latex), tomatoes (nightshade), cheese (dairy) or fish sticks (gluten). So that alone seems a win!!!

Cheese and tomato, as well as possibly the fish sticks, are a source of glutamate. Umami. I believe that it causes a natural endorphin like reaction. I wouldnt say addictive..but something like that from what I've read. Maybe, you are not allergic or sensitive to these foods and you get that feel good chemical boost rron the umami so...it just feels good to eat.

All are guesses. I'm not a nutritionist. Just read a lot.

Gin & tonic, Negroni, Screwdriver, Gimlet.

These four foods make me feel great.
