Just a thought, are you taking vitamin D or had it tested recently? Having been extremely low myself, I know how crappy it can make you feel. If you are taking it, are you taking enough? And with co-factors?
As a fellow B12 sufferer I understand, your Iron levels could take a couple of years to restore but thinking about your b12 are you taking folate (folic acid) with your b12 as this is essential just a thought.
Having PA does affect your ability to absorb iron. Also having PA causes us to have either no or very little stomach acid. This causes a lot of problems and again affects iron absorption as iron likes an acidic stomach. You could try taking it with orange juice as this helps absorption. If all else fails you may need an iron infusion. I had one and it worked quite well although I till supplement with Spatone every day. I wish you well.
I’ve had iron infusions with my last gps I was with I’ve told the new doctors this and it’s in my notes however I feel like it’s an o well attitude if I can’t get them to listen to me I’ve no Hope really
As you can tell from my post just before yours I'm feeling like s ... too. Hope you got the extra tests you wanted to help find out more and hopefully better days to come
