I don’t know if it’s in my head but I think I feel better after having had an IM injection. I had been doing subq myself.
Why would this be or is it purely a coincidence?

I feel better after going back on Im I jections. On the 6 weeks off I took tablets and sublingual spray and was going downhill
So continuing with every other day at present.
I don't know the reason why, but I also seem to do better on IM injections instead of subcutaneous. I found that I needed quite a bit more B12 when I did subq shots in order to get the same benefit. It doesn't make logical sense, because both forms theoretically work equally. I can only relate that my experience has been better with IM than subq.
I also feel better on injections. Is it because only about 1% of the sublingual is absorbed?
I read that online somewhere.
That would mean I'm getting only 10 micrograms from the 1000mcg tablet?
I only feel benefit from IM. Sub cut doesn’t seem to work for me. I didn’t expect it to be different but it is for me.
There is no possible reason why IM should be better than SC, or vice versa, assuming they had been performed correctly.
Thanks I didn’t think so either but I’ve definitely responded better from the last few IM’s I’ve had done so don’t understand it. Could it be possible I need to do the subcut more often? I had been alternating days.
If the injections are being done properly (i.e. nothing is leaking out) then the whole dose is getting into the body.
The only explanation I can think of is that the SC dose is being absorbed more rapidly than the IM. That would mean that more of it would get excreted in the urine.
