Hi iv had b12jabs my whole life so for along time never even questioned pa until servere anxiety and agrophobia and this site made sence to symtems i had after aving a volvilus resection then a ileocolic resecction and since seeing med records over this and malabsobtion of intestinal area. iv learned everything ther is to know on issues for me and finally got app with gasterologist soon but my daughter was tested due to my persistance and has b12 and folate dificiancy and is on last of maintenence doses over two week but her throat has been really sore ulcers but dont hurt like usally would persistant cough and servere back ache hoping any other newly diagnosed suffered same oh and phyically worn her out so still hoping energy and mood will resolve itself but i dont know how loading jabs work due to being to young remember and r gp surgery i think the office staff assume ther the gps and due to me being rite are being awkward when telling nurse who said ul av book a app with gps who change all the time and cant get in till january should i be concerned thanks x

Hi Leigh6873 if you can get an appointment with her doctor ask to have her Folate level checked as this works with B12 and iron to make red blood cells.
