Its bin two yrs since i started with servere anxiety and diagnosed with agrophobia and panic attacks that continue sine 2016 .Basically iv had my bowel removed due to gangarene and twisted age 4. Then age 12 another op assosiated with chrones and also diagnosed with pa after shilling test at time . Iv grown up never questioning this as iv got older but never knowing and quickly dismissed when i was under mental health as stated in my initial posts bak then. I have gone alot worse and vitiman d has made me dificiant in the last year and now cholesterol high and b12 high and was trying to stop my jabs at first im sure its been my condition behind mental health and anxiety is constant aswell as pins and needles so took book with me last week but looked at me like i was crazy iv lost faith in the system since and now my mental health makes it harder to speak up and avoid people as much as i can since rant over lol so frustrating as it was 8years after bowel op they found out about pa and i was a neevous wreck as a child with habits x could i have had damage in that time scale

Hi Leigh6873 my answer tonight is the same as a week ago "if you have P.A. then B12 injections are needed for the rest of your life without any stops or pauses. It doesn't matter how high your levels get - it is completely safe as any excess is excreted via your urine".

Goodnight from the U.K.

Hi Leigh - my son has severe Crohns and was undiagnosed for many years. He suffered dreadful mental health through all those years probably due to the fact he could not absorb the nutrients he needed including B12. Don't lose faith in having your B12 as this is vital and I would imagine with your condition is especially more important so please don't give them up. I can only tell you that since he has been getting his B12 his mental health has improved dramatically. The symptoms you describe appear to be typical of not enough B12 rather than the reverse. Did they give you B12 after your operation at 4 years old? You have every right to speak up when you're feeling so crappy and I wish you well

Iv had b12 jabs all my life but never new all my symtoms were identical to pa and anxiety it took me along time to know how important it was as iv always had them but bak then it wasnt understood the same as now and parents dont remember or believe me half of time . I just feel the eight yrs from having bowel out at four to the 2nd op age 12 was a long gap before jabs started after this and shilling tests and am sure my nervous system been affected as when i started jabs as a child i was like i had parkinsons by the way i had so many tics and anxiety x
