The best time is really any time.

However, I find that taking 2x 5000mcg methyl subl about 30 minutes before any mental activity like a meeting really helps clear my head.

I also take 1x or 2x during my evening commute to keep awake and alert while driving.

I’ll also take 2x at bedtime. I first thought it contributed to my restless legs but now I find that my dreams are better and I sleep longer without the restless shifting all night long.

I inject cyano weekly and fully supplement with folic acid, multivitamin, etc daily, so the tablets are in addition to andnot in lieu of injections.

Remember, B12 is water soluble and you can’t overdose as you just pee the excess away.

I always like to take vitamin pills with food . I have no idea if this is the best thing to do . But I don’t have any problems .

The people in the peripheral neuropathy support group recommend taking oral B12 on an empty stomach

I think the logic is that a higher concentration of B12 is in contact with the intestinal walls and hence diffusion into blood is slightly better.
