Hi vivjay are you in the U.K?

How often do you have your B12 injections?

Have you spoken with a doctor about the pains you have?

You are not alone feeling tired and useless - that's what P.A. can do to us but you need to talk to a medical professional as soon as you can.

Best regards.

If you’ve had nerve damage, once you start on B12 injections, the increase in pain is a symptom that arises from the repair of the nerve damage.

The brain interprets the stronger signals on the nerves as pain until it recalibrates to the stronger signals. This takes a couple of days.

However, the brain recalibrates faster if it believes that the pain is a good symptom. You can help by physical movements, range of motion exercises, that stimulate the muscle and associated nerves. Working through the pain helps. I find that the getting started is the worst part but I can go all day if I pace myself.

Stress, anxiety and worry make things seem worse and it takes longer for the brain to recalibrate.

For me, when the pain is too much to handle, a pain killer gives temporary relief.
