Has anyone else experienced weight gain after B12 shots? If so, is it temporary? Will it continue to increase with each shot?

No changes in lifestyle. I have gone from 120 to 132 in just over a month.

I lost weight. But I put it down to the huge reduction in my depression. And I eat naughty things when depressed.

I put on some (needed) weight! I think mine was due to the reduction in anxiety, as I don't eat when I'm anxious!

I agree with the previous posts . Getting well again led to a better appetite .

I’ve another theory that if you’ve had nerve damage to your vagus nerve, which goes from your brain to your stomach, then when you get B12, the repair of this nerve causes a stronger signal to your brain which is interpreted as hunger.

I get this symptom after each injection. It is an illusion as I’m not really hungry but I want to eat everything it site.

Luckily for me, most snacks either contain gluten or dairy and so I have to avoid just about everything as I’m gluten and dairy free.

However, I have gained weight.

Same here! All lower half and a swollen feeling is a great description. It's not just all over weight gain. Let me know what you find out, please. Going to make an appointment for myself as well.

Will do! They are going to do an endoscopy and colonoscopy. They also tested my thyroid and it looks "normal" for my usual Hashimotos. My ferritin has dropped very low but my serum iron is high. They are confused by this.
