Feeling even worse!

Started loading injections last Wednesday had another on Friday and I swear I felt amazing on Saturday! Like really really amazing! No numbness no dizziness could even taste and smell better than have in years!! Sunday I was a little tired but ok, and today I feel like I have been hit by a bus! Aching and numbness dizziness absolutely knackered and severe brain fog! Just back from my 3rd injection and hoping the symptoms go away! Is this normal? Nurse thinks it maybe I need to go to get injections every 2 days even if it falls on a Sunday! Just feel like such a burden 😢

I often feel pretty terrible for a few days following an injection.

Hi Clarecccc

If it helps I had exactly the same experience and am still going through it now really, a few good days followed by a few which could certainly be described as feeling like I've been hit by a bus. Everyone on here has been amazing though and Im learning that its just part of the process of getting well again and it will eventually settle.

Wishing you all the best with it :)

All those nerve endings that have been starved of B12 are coming back to life! So often symptoms do seem as though they are worse to begin with. Don’t worry, it is a normal part of the recovery process.

I felt the same too, wonderfull for 2 days, then back to earth with a bump, it did get better tho, I've just had my top up injection 10 weeks on, and certainly feel better for it, but I also take sublingual tabs 1000mcg every other day. I think everyone is differant, I dont get brain fog, just get really snappy and impatient with my husband,so I know I'm getting low, think its going to be 8 weekly for me, are you taking folic tabs, Clive on this site, answered a lot of my questions, but hes right, your body has to repair itself after months of lacking b 12, I still have good and bad days, but slowly picking up.you will get there.Clareccc
