Need advice. Could I be having side-effects of now enough B12?

As aforementioned in another post, I got a loading phase of 3 x 1000mcg of Cyanocobalamin that were part of a B Complex (1-6-12). I then continued sublingual tablets (2500 mcg 2 per day) for about 4 days. I had horrible stomach pain, bloat, and almost passed out at the doctor's office yesterday (mix of stress, my brainfog and weakness from not eating alot). Now my numbness, brain fog and other symptoms that had be somewhat aleviated with the shots, are back. The doc said that the 3 loading shots were enough but I never got any tests done to even show what my levels were. Not a happy camper!!!! Now i've added anxiety that it will happen to me again. Any ideas?

a test for B12 immediately after loading shots would be meaningless as you have just put a load of B12 into your blood - most will be filtered out by your kidneys over time. I have to rush now but will try to come back to your post later - but may not be for 12hrs+

If your b complex does not include folate i would suggest taking some.

Otherwise, we are in the depths of winter and even if you are in mexico if you arent outside, your vitamin D level could be low. You need magnesium with vitamin D. Magnesium also helps with anxiety all on its own. They call it the calming nutrient.

The stomach pain and bloating could be symptoms of the low stomach acidity which is another symptom of PA - and may be helped by taking something acidic with your food - a little lime or lemon juice in water.

Are the sublinguals methyl? in which case it might be worth seeing if you can get hold of some cyanocobalamin sublinguals - methyl does seem to cause problems in some people.

if the shots you were having were a mix of B1, B6 and B12 then it would be better to avoid too many as too much B6 can cause neurological problems. B12 isn't toxic. Not sure about B1.

If your folate levels were on the low side low before the shots then it is possible that you may have become folate deficient which would also lead to higher levels of anxiety and return of many of the symptoms of B12 - most people find folic acid sufficient - 400mcg tablets.
