It might be that your first result was borderline and the second was in range, but I would ask for the actual results if you have symptoms which seem to indicate low B12.
Ask for a print-out of the results and show us . You are legally entitled to the print outs .

Hi wedgewood my level was 1.58
Are you sure it was 1.58? What were the units and the range.
That number is way too low for any normal B12 test.
