Hi, I have B12 deficiency of 92 out of (220-950), I have visited many doctors in the last 14 years for my white patches in my body and pathetic poor memory, non of the doctors diagnosed that i have b12 deficiency, my nail started brittle and i have lost 90% of my hair, my palm and feet feel frozen chillness all the time, even my eyes gives blurred vision, I used to browse in the internet for the reasons every time, i found copper, zing deficiency create such a problem, so started taking oysters once in a month for last one year but nothing cured me instead my health got worse when the days pass by, at last in the month of october 2017 i request one doctor to prescribe me lab test for b12, then I found my deficiency and request the doctor to inject me with methyl cobolamin b12 but they have the form of cynocobolamin, though i am taking b12 injection every week, i dont feel any recovery. I request any of you help me getting B-complex injection in india, what would be the approximate price of the same.

Cyanocobalamin is, for the vast majority of people, just as good as methylcobalamin - if not better.

Four weeks is probably not long enough to fix up to 14 years of B12 deficiency, so you'll probably have to wait a while before things start getting significantly better.

Please have your Folate level checked as this and the B12 you are having injected helps your iron to function properly and make red blood cells.

I've been on cyano for 46 years....

I wish you well

Some people will say that after the first b12 injection they feel amazing but I never found that to be true. If anything I felt worse when I got my 6 injections in the first 2 weeks. Then after a month or so I started to feel like I had a bit more stamina. Usually when I did anything like just going to the supermarket I would have to lie down and recover for a while after, but after the 4/8 week mark I felt not too bad after going out. After 3 months when I got my next injection I started to notice that all the warts on my hands were going after 10 years of being there are refusing to budge. At this point I also started to notice new hair was growing around the edge of my head. After about 6 months I started trying a bit of exercise and that helped my energy levels too. When you have a b12 deficiency for that long it damages your body, so you can fix the b12 deficiency itself but you have to wait for the damage to be repaired and this can take a while. I had a b12 deficiency for 9 years and I spent 9 years lying in bed as much as I could, getting higher b12 levels doesn't change that unfortunately. Just give it time and try and focus on looking after yourself.
