Hello again everyone,

I’ve just picked up another blood test from my surgery, I have no idea what it means, and of course I turned to google. I abe a weak positive result for ASMA, and I’m wondering if that’s what’s causing my progressive drop in B12?

Do any of you know anything about it? Or where I can go to find more info please?

Many thanks, Katie

As the printout says, the result needs to be interpreted in combination with other things.

Do you have any other indications of hepatitis! If not, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Hepatitis tends to cause raised B12.

Hii. Even i got a weak positiveeee for SMA with low titres. I went to the rheumatologist and he said no need to repeat tests because it could even be negative or because i had no synptoms so for now i should not pay attention.

Did you go back for a retest? Was everything okay then?
