Hi justsick. I understand that. What does your doc say?

No doc yet. My insurance doesn't start until January 1st.. I was feeling better after my first shot from a natropathic doctor but I am overdue for one and am just using 5,000 sublingual right now.. With the shot though, I could eat better. I have lupus and am in a flare. Hoping as the flare goes away I'll feel better.

Yes. I was close to 100lbs. I could not gain muscle mass. I quickly added between 20-30 lbs with B12 treatment. It fluctuates a bit, but my weight has been a much healthier amount since B12. And if I do push-ups regularly, I can tell my muscles are responding. For a long time before, nothing I did made a difference.

Hi statesideheather. Thank you for your reply. I'm glad you got your weight under some control. I've been on weekly injections for about 5 mos now and I still am losing weight. It's scaring me

I eat the usual stuff, just get full super fast. Finding it's part of PA. I go for a CT of my stomach next week. Finally someone is paying attention to the pain and major weightloss

Glad you are getting in soon. I eat a wide variety of vegetables and fruits. Raw and cooked. A lot of the time I have a bone broth based vegetable soup with many kinds of vegetables. When I'm not hungry, I eat this. Other than that, full fat pastured dairy, lots of eggs, meat, fish and rice. I cook with ghee and lard mostly, but I use avocado oil too as it's a high temp stable oil. I use ghee and coconut oils for baking. Of course, I eat breads and pasta too, though not as often. I don't crave carbs much. And I always have desserts around. I don't have much of a sweet tooth so I eat a little when I feel like it.

Wow, you eat very healthy foods. I have a problem cooking and getting a lot of whst I need. I lost My right leg to bone tumors and infection and don't have my prosthetic yet. I can't drive yet so have to rely on others to get food. Usually something quick or easy to heat

I don't have PA but have lost weight because of B12 deficiency, it is one of the symptoms.

It is a bery bad circle, being low B12 means eating less so having a stronger deficiency!
