Hi! I am new to the forum. I was diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia a little more than a month ago. I'm looking forward to talking with people like me.

Hello Cantwell! I was also diagnosed with PA just 40 days ago. I had peripheral neuropathy symptons for a year and started to lose weight this year (6kg). I'm on my fifth week of cyanocobalamin injections every other day and felt some improvement in the begining but now I'm always tired, feelling weak and I've got a burning sensation on my feet, legs and arms...

People say you can get worst before get really better so I think we've got to be patient...

I hope you are dealing well with your treatment!

Hi cquadros! I have been dealing with neuropathy myself for the past several years. I have only been diagnosed with PA back in June. I have white matter changes in my brain with no known cause. I have that B12 deficiency can cause such changes. I just have to prove it. I've been doing B12 since February. I have some improvement, but I still get pretty tired. Hope you do well with your treatment as well!

*Waves hello* I joined the prestigious Club P.A. last November. I look forward to reading all about you. Any questions, just post em up. There's always someone on here who has been there, done that and bought the T-shirt.

Welcome - another newbie who is currently B12 deficient and waiting to have an IF test for PA. It's reassuring to meet other people who are going through the same things and can share useful information or tips.

I was diagnosed with PA because my B12 was of course low and my parietal cell titers were high. My IF antibodies were normal. Good luck with everything and I'll be seeing you on the board.
