If I miss an injection should I double the next?

I ran out of b12 and the pharmacy has to order more. I will miss an injection. I do them every other day.

Fortunately you cannot overdose on B12 Blinkysmom so you won't do yourself any harm doing it on consecutive days as any excess is excreted via your urine.

Is you Folate level OK?

Thank you for your response! My Folate and b6 were low. I haven't had a blood test in a month. I take 9000+mcg Folate ( in a supplement called Homocysteine Supreme and 600 mg. B6 (a b complex and b6 is in the Homocysteine Supreme.

Beware of B6. Taking 100mg a day for long periods can be very, very bad. That 'homocysteine supreme' contains 50 mg. If the B-complex contains a similar amount, or you're taking more than one of the homocysteine supreme, then you could be damaging your nervous system irreparably.

Not sure how effective doubling the next dose is going to be as the rate of loss is higher the higher the amount in your blood is so may just result in more of it going down the pan (quite literally :))

Go by your symptoms if you can.
