We need to fight , keep going back to your doctor, im going to .you can get low on B12 but you can not overdose

Hi Lindar1710,

"used to have mine every 2 months and my doctor now says I have to wait till 3 months"

Might be worth starting your own thread .

UK B12 treatment is injections every 2 months if neuro symptoms present at diagnosis. Every 3 months if no neuro symptoms.

Have you read "BSH Cobalamin and Folate Guidelines" ?

b-s-h.org.uk/guidelines/click on box that says "Diagnosis of B12 and Folate Deficiency" should be on page 3 of listed guidelines

Sorry, I'm a little confused. Were you feeling bad before your injection and it hasn't helped you feel better or you were feeling ok and just had your injection and now feel worse?

Not sure where you are based but Neurorubine isn't what is normally injected in the UK (hydroxocobalamin here) so I don't know much about it. A quick google tells me it has high levels of B1 and B6 as well as B12 so it may be these (especially B6 @50mg) that are are not helping you to feel well.

Sorry not much help - best to discuss it with your doctor. :-(

Thanks Taka for your reply..

Iam based in Uganda (Africa) infact I was feeling very perfect only that I had to go to the Doctor as it was my routine to check my levels every after 3months.

My levels had gone down and I had to take a shot..

Since then.. Am feeling unwell.. Can't go for work and feeling weak and desparate

Is it possible that you have a virus or something else going on not related to B12?

My Doctor asked me that too but I have no any other issues...save the menstrual periods I finished the day I took the shot.

Thank you

sometimes all you really know of a virus is that you feel awful. Is the feeling awful the same as how you feel when you are deficient.

As taka says - probably best to discuss again with your doctor.

Can't wait to visit my Doctor.
