Good morning. Am going to Germany & hoping to stock up on Hydroxo.ampoules.

Thing is I'm only going for a short 2 day break & only taking hand luggage.

Has anyone ever brought the ampoules back in hand luggage? i.e put the boxes in the plastic bags for 'fluids' & put them through scanner.

Any awkward questions asked about carrying ampoules (given that alot of medics know next to nothing about B12 I don't imagine the security/customs people know anything at all)?.

I think most people who bring stocks back put them in hold luggage?, but I wont be able to avoid showing them.

And given B12's sensitivity to light does the scanner affect it?

Feeling like a 'mule' already!!!

Well I go to Germany twice a year and bring back B12 ampoules with me in cabin luggage.. I put them in with the other liquids for scanning . , but leave them in the box . I've never had a problem . I use them and they work OK . Hope that this helps .

Oh thanks Wedgewood (do you live in the Potteries!?)..Yes, I meant leave them in the boxes. That's helped me a lot.

No , I don't live in the Potteries , but my favourite china is - Wedgwood ! I spell it Wedgewood , because I thought Wedgwood might be patented or something !
