I have been self injecting for quite a while now without any problems.

However this morning,in my brain fog, I forgot to remove the air from the syringe.

I inject I/m in outer thigh, do you thinK this will cause a problem.

Hi BJhealings51.

Don't worry...injecting a small amount of air into a muscle will not hurt you.

And there are no major vessels in the upper outer thigh so don't worry that the air might have accidentally got into a vessel. In the unlikely event that you nicked a vessel whilst injecting (this sometimes does happen) it would simply have collapsed, and the vessels are too small for a needle/air to gain entry in this way.

Don't let this knock your confidence...

So...don't worry...all's good.

👍
