Absorption

In September I had 10 loading jabs followed by high strength sublinguals, also daily folic acid which was able to be stopped after 2 months, my October readings were b12 >2000 and folate >22, would this indicate that I am able to absorb ok ? not particularly the b12 as I had injections. 2 negative intrinsic factor antibody results, although I am aware of the unreliabilty of this test.

Update with gp/neurologist

Gp stopped all my jabs, I referred myself privately to the neurologist who wrote a short note to my gp asking him to refer me back to neuro in the nhs.....but oh no this was not enough for my gp, he needs the full notes of the consultation, it is as though he is in denial that there is a b12 deficiency, other than me browbeating him into the loading jabs he has been skirting around it for 12 months now. Also the neurologist hasn't covered himself in glory either as that was over 1 week ago, so all told after initial private consultation 3 weeks ago I still have no referal, I just feel £200 lighter for no real benefit in the referral speed...or am I just being unrealistic time wise ?

Rightly or wrongly I stopped supplementing pending mma and Homocystene tests with neuro but I am definitely going downhill again, I think considering the time that the referral is taking I may have to restart the supplementing or start SI....I have all the supplies ready and waiting here, what do you think ?

PS did any of the admins pick up my comment in another thread that I am unable to use my ticket for the conference next month, pas informed but no response.

The admins of the forum aren't involved with the conference, except for PAS-admin - who is very busy trying to organise it. You could try a PM. The flooding of their offices means they're probably totally swamped.

As for treatment -

Go to the GP and demand an MMA test.
