Blood interpretation

Hi all you lovely people from whom I have learned an enormous amount !!

My aunt 68 years old suffering badly from a severe burning sensation in feet and legs severe tiredness and feeling very unwell .Gp referrals etc have surprise surprise come up with nothing .i have her blood results here would be massively grateful for any advise .thanks so much all and again so appreciate you all and your knowledge

Almost all of those results are checking on liver and kidney function. While I am by no means an expert in those, they do look OK.

for the symptoms you describe there should have been tests for iron, ferritin, Vit B12 and folate levels, as well as a Full Blood Count (FBC).

I have read that B12 deficiency can lead to Grierson Gopalan Syndrome. Grierson Gopalan symptoms include burning sensations.

Has she had thyroid tests? a test for Coeliac disease? diabetes test?

I am not a medic just a person who has struggled to get a diagnosis.

Hi 03081963 I too have the symptoms of burning feet and legs normally in the run up to my next scheduled Vitamin B12 injection so it might be a good idea for your aunt to have her Serum B12 and Serum Folate levels checked.

B12 Deficiency can be age related and I'm 75
