Dizzyness with PA

Hi, I have had PA for 10 yrs now,and have B12 inj every 3months.I also suffer with an under active tyroid.I have the hell of both world.I had my B12 3weeks ago and now have started to feel exhausted again.I also take folic acid.I was wondering why I keep feeling so dizzy.I would appreciate any advice.

If its always coming on 3 weeks after a shot then the most likely explanation is that you just aren't getting enough B12 - what matters after you have started treatment is the symptoms not the levels in your blood but it can be very difficult to get that through to a GP. There is no scientific justification that I am aware of for the 3 month interval on loading shots that I have come across. In other countries they use monthly. The dizziness implies neurological problems - which would also imply maintenance should be every 2 months though it sounds as if that wouldn't be enough for you either.

Sounds like you need more frequent injections. Do you keep a logbook of all you symptoms especially the neurological and psychological one to provide to your Dr when you ask for more frequent injections?
