Am currently on loading shots, and have noticed that the balls of my feet (right foot inparticular) are really sore.
I did suffer numbness in my feet and toes so am assuming it is just nerves repairing??
Anyone else have experience of this??

Not sure that I experienced this in feet but certainly experienced it in the hands.
You may find that getting some arch supports helps as it sounds like tarsal tunnel - which is to do with the way nerves run through the heal - arch supports tend to change the shape of the foot/ankle enough to free up some space so less constriction - which is the most likely cause of the soreness and pain.
Hi BarefootHelen,
I am not a medically qualified person and can only speak from 45 years experience,
It sounds like "par for the course" and not something to get unduly worried about as often things seem to get worse before they get better during the healing process.
I hope the symptoms ease soon and wish you well for the future.
45 years experience is a lot more than most doctors have!!
Thanks for the response, from what I have read it does seem to be normal. Worse the morning after a loading shot and then easing off.
I'm just happy that something seems to be happening!!
I lived most of those years in total ignorance of what P.A. was all about.
I was walking around kike a Zombie for years until I was diagnosed and my then doctor told me I was going to die within two years unless I ate raw liver three times a day or alternatively had b12 injections every four weeks for the rest of my life.
Much as I love cooked liver with bacon & onions (had it this week actually) I gibbed at eating it raw and opted for the jabs.
There is life after P.A. and I'm still "clivealive" at coming up to 75
