Hi

Just a quick question can I do hydroxcobalin subcutaneous or does it have to be 1M please.

We are going away for 2 months and it will be due in the middle of my holiday.

Yes apparently you can, many seem to do hydroxo subcutaneous, it just means more often injecting it seems.

Yes I inject sub-cutaneously - in the thigh as I find the stomach too painful. For me it is a top up as my main source of B12 is nasal spray.

I do subcut and don't find I need it any more often than when the Dr gives it IM. I find the needle far less scary! I believe injections into the fatty layer absorb more slowly than when given into the muscle.
