Is anyone taking Magnesium-L-Threonate? If so, who supplies it and what dose do you take?

HI Jim,

I take three capsules a day of this.

How much is it? I haven't quite figured it out yet.

Also called ‘Magtein’ the recommended dosage is 2000 mg per day (3x 666mg). It’s available on Amazon.com. If you’re prone to cramping muscles as PWP tend to be, this supp can spare you a lot of misery.

I get Magtein Magnesium L-Threonate 2010 mg/serving 90 caps for $28 at Vitacost. The bottle says take 3 per day. I have only been taking one at bedtime for sleep. After reading the article, I think I'll increase it to 2. I was worried about diarrhea, so I started out with 1 cap, but I havent had any problems so far. Ive been taking it for a couple months.

I order from Walmart.com. NOW Magtein, 90 caps for $13.82. It's the only brand I've used (for 8 months now); 1 cap after supper, 2 caps at bedtime, often within an hour of my last dose of Rytary. I can't say that taking it close to the Rytary has caused me any issues, and have never experienced diarrhea.

Hi, I take the extend release magnesium from Life Extension - one capsule twice a day. It helps a lot to keep me from getting leg cramps. You can get it on Amazon for around $9 a bottle for 60 capsules.

"This triple Magnesium powder supplement consists of three different forms of Magnesium - Magnesium Oxide, Magnesium Aspartate and Magnesium Citrate."

But this thread is about Magnesium-L-Threonate?

Catch no ball.

We buy a Magnesium Bisglycinate on Amazon and my husband takes 2 x500 a day. Think it’s been recommended on this site before. Maybe we’ll try this one.

I just started my mom on this about a week ago. So far I am only giving her one at night but I plan to gradually increase to the recommended dose.

I am not sure if it is helping yet but I am hopeful.

I also started taking it as well.
