PEMF

I ordered a PEMF machine to try out as I was crippled with back pain which was getting worse by the day. My lower back and thighs were constantly in pain and worse when I was weight bearing. I didn't want to take any more pills and thought to try the Miramate machine. Here are my findings.

I began wearing it on my back on 17th April for a couple of hours. For the first few days I didn't see any difference, so increased the time to 3 hours morning and another hour in the evening.

After a couple of days my sleep quality improved and I had more energy. I continued using the Miramate daily but increased the time. There are no side effects at all and I felt safe using it.

Three days ago, I woke with no pain. I got out of bed and carefully stood....no pain...I walked to the bathroom. This was a novelty as I usually have to semi crawl and shuffle, cramped up with pain. This particular morning I actually strode to the bathroom. I couldn't believe it. Totally painless.

I hurried back to my bedroom and put the Miramate on to my back and switched it on. Then went downstairs to take my meds and have a cup of coffee. Arm swings were normal and I was actually walking upright...[not done that for a few months now].

It is now the third day that I have been without pain. I continue to wear the Miramate, but now all day. Energy increased and moving normally again. Still have tremors but not constantly or as severe.

Hello. He is still using it occasionally. Guess it helps, but like everyone he is also on a lot of different vitamins/supplements and can't pinpoint what helps the most. I can only say for certain that it relaxes him.

This is not the first post to report positive results using the Miramate. And Kewlfox has been around since 2016. The ones to be suspicious of are the ones created the same day as the post.

Very good. I'm still getting good results from my miramate. I sleep solid for nine hours, my tremor seems less, I feel happier, and feel stronger. Yesterday I had the device tested via a vegatest device, used usually for checking allergies, rather like muscle testing. The machine reported that my body was very positive about my using the PEMF. I had a far stronger positive reaction to the PEMF device than I've had to any supplements I've had tested. Anything that increases neural regrowth (NASA findings) must be good for us. See-

Do you have to buy the coils separately? I don’t quite understand how it works.

Dap1948 profile image
Dap1948 in reply toTrixiedee

The unit comes with single coils, so ready to go. They have just brought out quad coils which treat a larger area with the same intensity. These you would need to order separately

No, it all comes in one pack. Batteries are not supplied but has a usb attachment plug. I use batteries as it makes the device portable. You get the device plus the coils and various straps [wrist, body etc] to place the coils into while you are using it.

How long have you been diagonosed and how much meds to you take. The reason i ask is that i have been using for a week now and nothing has changed and yet my friend who has been diagonosed longer than me but on no drugs saw results almost immediately. Less tremour and more dexterity from bad side

I just wondered that maybe the amount of drugs you are on may effect the results or the time it takes to get some

I was diagnosed in 2010, so 8 years now Take Madopar, 2x50mg 5 times a day.

It took 17 days before I felt any effect.

I'm impressed that you can still get down stairs before meds and that you are on so little meds after 8 years

It's a struggle and I am now on my own, so take a long time......to do everything..:)

Anything that helps without having to take more pills is worth a try don't you think.:)

Definately. I get far more problems from side effects than the condition

I've received mine today. To what area of the body and how did you apply the coils? Thank you.

Kewlfox profile image
Kewlfox in reply tostepan13

I applied my coils directly to my lower back, using the black and white long binder to hod them.

Kewlfox,

It has been about a month since you originally posted about PEMF. I was wondering if you have any updates? Thank you!

Hello Art,

Since the radical improvement to my back pain, I found that the pain began to return after a week or so. I sent for a quad coil as this was supposed to deliver to a wider area. There was no improvement using the quad so I have stopped altogether but will restart using it again in a couple of weeks to see if the break will help.

Can you give a PEMF update?

Thx

Kewlfox, I'm sorry to hear that the great results were only temporary. I think DAP had somewhat similar results, but thought that the problem was caused by over use of the PEMF device and then the device broke which now delays her experiment until the company replaces the device.

If you start up again with the PEMF device, please update us as you determine whether the device will be useful in the long run. Thank you for the update!

Hi Art,

Used my PEMF today. Had extreme pain along the muscle from my back, round my side, to halfway across my abdomen. Sudden onset and managed to gasp with it for about 40 minutes and then remembered my PEMF. Placed the coils along the muscle and switched on.....took about 10 minutes then the pain slowly abated. So it worked for that. Just thought to give you an update.

I just found this thread when researching PEMF. Did you end up getting one of these devices and did it work? Thanks.

Yes. I followed DAP. Her device broke after only a short time, she had a poor response from the manufacturers [ China] which is disappointing. I'll let you know if and when I restart it and what transpires.:)
