IPMN Question

Hi all!

I have just recently been diagnosed with IPMN that was accidentally found during a CT scan of my spine. I had numerous tests including a EUS and biopsy. The biopsy of the fluid found a large amount of blood and mature rare squamous cells in the sample, but the doctor doesn’t find this concerning. I have also got a nodule on my liver left to biopsy and a nodule on my lung to biopsy as well. I’ve never had pancreatitis and I do not drink alcohol. I do have severe Rhuemetoid arthritis and take Biologic and steroid medications just to be able to walk. I am anxious because I can not have further infusions for my RA until all testing is done on my liver and pancreas due to the possibility of a double chemo effect if cancer is found. I am currently working and I am afraid of having to quit. I just started back after being on SSD for a congenital problem that got worse in 1990. I am working off of SSD with the ticket to work program. I feel like I’m fighting a loosing battle with all of these health issues. The biopsy’s are taking forever to get done and it seems like no one is concerned. Has anyone else had a similar expirence with all of this? Any response is appreciated. It would be of great comfort to know I am not alone.
