Hi it would seem that after not taking my medication for a couple of days my legs started being sore again, because of this I had to resume my dependance of this drug to take away the pain. my dosage will be 2x100 mg daily instead of 3x100. And a big thanks to your previous replies.

Hi Pirate ,I had similar probs pain became way too much so started on gabapentin 3 x a day helped right leg but very little for left,so they increased to 6 a day..left still there and bad but I know without meds it would be much worse ..without meds I am down to a shuffle and bent over and 2o feet before too bad to go on without stopping, with meds I can manage more and only have real bad times a few times a week. So as much as I them ,they help .

best wishes

jan

Hi Jan I have come to the same conclusion simply that if I want the pain to go away I have to take my medication. As without Pregabalin I am sore very sore and my legs get me down. I am lucky that Remploy got me a part time job in Asda. I am 58 and I want to stay in work. The mental pain is something else. Just how bad are your legs Jan ? .

Hi from the hips down they are very tired all the time like Ive been working out all day long with heavy weights, the sciactica down the left leg is constant ranging from tolerable able to walk 10 terraced houses slowly,to unable to walk more than 3 slowly (this is with meds) on the left I also have hip pain from bursitis which makes me feel hooked up all the time in that area . My gait has dropped from an average 24" to about 10-12. and yes my pace is pretty slow ,if im walking too fast I have to slow right down within a few steps. I am 51,when this happened the consultant doing my mri said the bad news is your back is about 30 years older than you ..I was 49 at the time lol.

Hi , I have just been reading your comments on pregabalin, I have been taking this medication for two and a half years. I suffer with excruciating back pain and depending how bad it is I have three different strengths 200, 150, and 100. Like yourselves if I want to keep my pain bearable I could not leave my pregabalin off. If you read the side effects in the directions for use it does say they can cause back pain but they work for me .I was admitted into hospital about a year ago (with a different problem) and I was told it was a pill that was very rarely prescribed and they hadn't got any in the hospital and had to send out for some for me,

Triciaj hi I find that after a week on 3x100 daily I have then to cut down to 1 tablet a day as my stomach rumbles and roars and I have to head straight to the toilet as fast as I can. And when my dosage of Pregabalin is reduced my leggs get sore again so sore that I to back on Pr
