Hi my name is Tom Bucknell and I live with Cerebral palsy and have severe mobility issues. I find the Winters really difficult with joint pain. As a result I trained as a hypnotherapist specialising in pain management the techniques I learnt really helped me. I world really like to help people manage pain better and in a more productive way.

pain management with Tom
Hi Tom, Thanks for the offer.
I have a grandson (5yrs old) with mild CP, drooling and language issues. No pain as yet- but I expect psychological issues as he grows, and possibly muscular issues . He is attending school with the aid of an SNA-( special needs assistant)
How do you reckon to work on this on the forum?
Thanks, well done and good luck.
Thank you for sharing your grandson’s situation. It’s wonderful that you’re actively thinking about how to support him as he grows.
Swimming, dance, or martial arts tailored for children with CP can strengthen muscles and boost confidence.
Blow bubbles, pinwheels, or party blowers to strengthen lip and cheek muscles.
Blow through a straw to move lightweight objects (e.g., cotton balls or ping-pong balls).
Kissing Practice:
Practice puckering lips as if to give a big kiss.
Try exaggerated kissing sounds for added fun.
