I found sleeping in a recliner stopped that pain, against sleeping in a bed, and also a long back heating pad and full dose Gabapentin

Hello Specs, Sorry to hear ur news.

I am male, 82, PSP diag 6-7 yrs. 2 days ago my Rt leg crumpled from pain as I got up, not anticipated. Happily I had a Bowen Technique (hand-on therapy) session booked for yesterday, bit better right after, and nearly back to normal today. Miracle!

Suggest you lookout for practitioner near you of Bowen or NST. I ws one until retired 2 yrs ago.

Best wishes TimbowPSP

Hi Dorsi I'd maybe go to docs to discuss meds

Or tweets to meds

And not to miss meds

It helps not stop and start meds as well

Unless instructed to on meds box

If it gets bad more regularly I'd see doc about that too

Hope the pain eases off for you soon

Hi, the only pain meds I take are cocodamol and gabapentin. I have spondylolisthesis which is an ongoing pain, so I take the pain medication every day. Does the paracetamol help. If not then speak to GP about what painkillers he will prescribe for you. Gabapentin is a nerve pain med. It really helps me. Good luck in finding the right pain killer for you.

I take 8 Parcetamol every day, with no bad effects at all, but we are all different , but I do hope that they help. Good luck.
