A big shout out to all the people on this website. You are all so kind and supportive. I really appreciate everyone here. Thanks for reading my posts and I often learn reading your posts that there are so many like me. It’s so much nicer to talk to people that get it. Even my struggles with depression and anxiety as well as pain. Thank you all and I will try to be there for you too.

You do well , I think only if you sadly experience long term pain ,which we know is called chronic, which brings massive fatigue , upset you can not do the things you have done all your life ,then no wonder why you worry , it is uncertain ground also un predictable , all the terminology which is used ,does not help us when the body is un- happy . I am going through transition I think of slowly recognising , I have to except it is a new me , I look in the mirror and I am no me but a person who suffers pain linked to all sorts of symptoms with medication that whilst helps has other side kicks.

People on this site understand pain is real , up and down , of course it affects mood .

To learn not to beat yourself up and have the understanding it is not your fault with compassion will help .

I am naughty when in a lot of pain , trying various distractions. I hit all my medication, plus a little extra morphine to help . My sister came to see me and she said wow David took all that medication late at night and he has come to life , I thought it would knock him out. No it lifts me , I become alert because for a while the pain is hit so the fatigue is hidden for a while .

Keep in your life the loved ones , remember to ask how they are.

This new life which I am not happy with certainly not planned. At last is understood by this amazing .all the wonderful people understand because they have first hand experience, we all gain insight experience and knowledge.

Just remember this amazing community is here xxx

Boy do I get it. Anytime the pain is low everything changes. Everything. How you feel about yourself, what you can do, what you choose to do; life is fun for a while.

When it crashes back it's a different world.

Yes bang on , when it crashes it’s a different world , a horrible dark place worse than hell , you have anxiety as to when , if the dame pain is going to stop or just be less. X

Hi Sugaree,

I was delighted to read your positive experience. I hope the forum continues to be a useful place for you. I know from my personal experience of chronic pain that talking to someone that 'gets it' can make a huge difference.

Thank you to everyone in the community forum for supporting each other.
