Everyone wants to blame everyone on anxiety, but it could be the other way around, the pain and inflammation is causing the anxiety.
It sounds like some of your muscles might be going into spasm. Often where pain is felt isn't where the pain is originating. it could be the complex muscles that are attached to your back. There are also nerves that run through these muscles and if the muscles are in spasm then they could be aggravating the nerves too.
Have you had some physical therapy? If you can't afford any, there are plenty of videos online from physical therapists that will give you an idea of the sort of stretching exercises you can do.
Movement will also help. I am desk and computer based but I make sure that I take a break every 20 minutes, even if it is just to stand up, walk to the kitchen to get another coffee and sit down again.
Yeah the pain doesn’t keep me from doing my daily activities which is good. It just feels right from time to time and some shooting pains sometimes. Feels muscular so I’m sure it has to do with anxiety which I do suffer from.
I’m going to schedule an appointment with my Primary doctor so they can refer to a good physical therapist.
