My name is Walter and I have been experiencing discomfort in the upper trapezius area for about 3 years. The pain is quite bothersome, with a burning, stabbing sensation. On rare occasions, I have also experienced slight dizziness. Two days ago, I started noticing ringing in my left ear. Additionally, I often hear clicking sounds when I move my head while nodding.
I previously had a sedentary lifestyle, but I’ve improved that and am now more physically active. I am not overweight, but I am somewhat out of shape.
I would appreciate any guidance or advice on what could be causing these symptoms and how I might address them.
Thank you in advance!

Sorry to hear you are struggling with pain and some symptoms. I noticed you ask for guidance and advice on what could be causing the symptoms. I would encourage you to discuss this with your GP, or other health care professional, who would likely be best placed to advise. I also wonder if our Self Navigator Tool would be a good resource for you: painconcern.org.uk/the-navi... The aim of this is to help people raise concerns they may have during their consultation.
Well done on being more physically active. I know it is not always easy whilst living with pain so it sounds like you've made some very positive steps with your general lifestyle.
I will leave your post open in case there's anyone who may have experienced something similar to your symptoms and would like to share their experience.
