my doctor advised against taking diazepam long term. Been on naproxen now for 4 months. But just not enough

Codeine based meds are useless and cause me major constipation

I’m asking advice on the most strongest non-codeine based pain relief tablets available over the counter in the uk

thanks

Hi it is a hard one I agree a out the

Diazepam very very addictive got for short relief

If your in pain and long term

It will be hard over the counter

Maybe someone will come along with something over the counter

I tend to believe

Naproxen is an alternative from ibuprofen

And taken along pain relief

I get the codiene along Paracetamol

Paracetamol helps the other meds work better

Can take years to find the right meds

Sometimes a goid few together low dose including fentynal patch low dose

Trying to find solution if not tryed

If sleep effected

A strong sleep med helps pain through day

As lack of sleep has big knock on effect on pain through the day

If any nerve pain

Pregablin max dose

But

Everyone different though wot works with some ot others all with

Gp advice and prescibed

Bit off track just incase

Maybe someone who gets over the counter may come along with some strong none codiene over the counter
