it appears everyone is wanting answers how to get off medicines.i .haven't been on here long so no offence intended . I have been bedridden 4years with Addisons but mainly due to a sprained ankle in may 2019 yes 2019
my gp wouldn't do an mri after a year finally did one in June 2021 28 weeks wait did mri of my back in error waited again Sept 2021 got results in march 2022 torn ligaments in ankle and both knees and fluid which is why I can't stand or walk.and in agony 24/7 not pain but can go shopping or pain can cook nothing finally on zomorph,oramorph for a sprained ankle not working now on amitriptyline and pregabalin still nothing causation a term when your gp fails in their duty of care and makes an Illness or injury worse by not acting I'm waiting for a ligothaine infusion which was due in 2020 but cancelled due to covid so anyone with any ideas ..waited 82 weeks for new consultant to ring and they said I only deal with sciatica I've never had that they put the phone down and then waited for pain team to ring thinking date for infusion wrong pain team she suggested listening to whale music if I could lift my legs I would have kicked her through the phone

My goodness, i am horrified by what yoy have written!! You couldnt have made it up.....unbelievable. i feel so sorry for you.You must now put in a complaint, but who to.

You need to seek legal advice to see what they can do to sort this mess out.
The Citizens Advice Bureau can help you with this, or at least put you in touch with someone who can. I mean the legal side of it, seems you deserve compensation.
That's absolutely awful! I also think you need to get legal advice. Have you tried going to A&E because the pain you are experiencing sounds brutal.
I am sorry you are having such a bad time. Would it help to go to your local Patient Advice Liaison Service (PALS) & Get their advice & possibly make a complaint? Good luck
