Have you looked at chostochondritis not certain of spelling sorry. But that can lead to chest pain but is muscular in origin. Can last some time and may explain some of your symptoms.
Yes reflux/acidity can cause significant pain. People have gone to hospital thinking they are having a heart attack and it is bad indigestion!Hope they /you find some affective treatment soon.
Hello Pankaj123, you may be suffering from oesophageal spasms. I get these and they can be extremely painful and can last some time leaving residual pain once they are over. Mine were actually diagnosed by a cardiac consultant. I went to A&E with what was thought to be a heart attack. But after spending the night in hospital, having been transferred to the cardiac ward, because my heart was doing strange things but not heart attack, the consultant gave me this diagnosis. I am on Metoclopramide, which I have been on for some considerable time although apparently they are a short term drug. However when I stopped taking them, as instructed by a pharmacist, I started suffering really bad attacks again so have started to take the tablets again, I am going to speak to my doctor about this.It could also be your ribs dislocating from your chest bone, I have been told this can happen but I am not sure about it myself, you could ask your doctor. Hope these give you other options to consider.
