Hello Repousae, your post is quite short, as someone who suffers from Chronic ongoing pain which as been with me many years I'd love to hear about possible herbal remedies as I have tried many with little success. I am taking GOPO at present and it as some relieving effects mainly on the muscles but not the cause of the pain I guess. THe pain as never really been investigated just put down to arthritis as there is a family history. Many things can cause pain especially muscle pain, from simple things like overuse to more complex things like poly arteritis in the veins. Good luck with the research.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

I saw that in one of the responses that it was mentioned that others were struggling with Chronic Pain and thought I would use this response to just share some general resources that readers of this post may find useful.

Beginning more generally with living with Chronic Pain, Pain Concern has a leaflet, "Manage Your Pain" which may be useful. There is also the Self-Management Navigator Tool (painconcern.org.uk/the-navi... which provides support individuals regarding the development of strategies to manage pain, navigating healthcare professional appointments, and much more.

There was also a mention support for family members. On our website is information on potential community support which can help to identify local support for pain management:

painconcern.org.uk/communit...

There is also a mention of medication. The Faculty of Pain Medication has a large range of leaflets that may provide information on specific medications that may be part of your Perscription:

fpm.ac.uk/patients/patient-...

And should you have further questions regarding the medication you are on, the following link provides insight on how you can speak to your local pharmacist about any current medication, conduct a review including any problems you are having with your current medication and create a care plan for moving forwards:

nhsinform.scot/care-support...

I hope these links are helpful and please feel free to comment any feedback on this post and the associated links so that we can provide the best possible information and support to those sharing their personal experiences on this forum.

Thanks again,

PainConcern
