So last Saturday my back felt a twinge and two seconds later I was walking like I hadn’t made it to the toilet. Yes my back had gone. Fast forward to the Sunday and it was like nothing had happened to my back. Felt discomfort but only when overstretching.
It’s now 4 days on and I still have the cramp that appeared in my leg. Spoke to the doctor. He’s recommended tonic water because of the quinine. I’ve had this. Plus ibuprofen gel and still the pain on the bag of the leg is there. It’s like a cramp slash tightness. Any help

I just think you have to give it time. Yes your back is now feeling ok. But pain has gone down leg and as said not surprised you still have some issues.
could be a trapped nerve, sciatica. I’ve had it for 6 weeks now but my pain in all down my leg and has affected my hip and knee too. I am given amitriptyline when this happens so I can at least sleep. I also take co-drydamol if I still wake on the night in pain. I had physio 3 years ago which worked but I think the winter lockdown/shielding has wasted some of my muscles away not being as active. If it carries on see your doctor again. X
Have you looked into posture also if you stretch that can pull onto the spine.
If you stretch, twist or extend your spine that can also cause nerve damage even for a short period of time. The spine is tendon, nerve rich , Lifting can also cause damage to the lumber reason down the side of the thigh, Sciatica, this hopefully will clear given time. Learn regards posture also lifting, remember when lifting straight back, lift with your legs and place your hands around the object you are lifting, straight neck, chin in etc
